June 7 - We have checked over The Singularity's perks to see if any would fit into our build guide.

The best Dead By Daylight Hag build takes advantage of her powers well. One of the first DLC killers to be introduced in Dead by Daylight, the Hag has an interesting play style that will confuse all survivors. Conjuring Phantasm Traps and using Hex Totems are the powers that the survivors will be dealing with.

The Hag can be a little hard to use as she's not hugely mobile in practice but her traps make her very versatile. This will teach the best way to leverage perks to get the most out of her.

Dead by Daylight the Hag perks

The Hag has three unique perks that can be unlocked for other killers via the Bloodweb.

Hex: The Third Seal

The last 2/3/4 survivors hit with the Hag's attacks will suffer from the blindness status effect.

Hex: Ruin

All Generators will immediately and automatically regress 50/75/100% of the normal regression speed when they aren’t being repaired.

Hex: Devour Hope

Each time a survivor is rescued from a hook while the Hag is at least 24 meters away, this perk rewards a token.

At two tokens, the Hag will gain a 3/4/5% hast status effect after ten seconds of hooking a survivor.

At three tokens, all survivors will suffer a permanent exposed status effect.

At the maximum amount of tokens (five), the Hag will now have the ability to kill all survivors with her own hand.

What are the best builds and perks for The Hag?

We would go with the following perks for the best possible Hag Build:

Corrupt Intervention (The Plague perk)

At the start of the Trial, the three Generators located farthest from you are blocked by the Entity for several seconds.

A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse perk)

Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. The auras of all survivors who are being healed within 20/24/28 meters are revealed to the Hag.

Save the Best for Last (The Shape perk)

You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time you hit a survivor other than your obsession with a basic attack, this perk gains one token. Gain a stackable cooldown reduction per Token, up to a maximum of 40%.

Hex: Ruin (The Hag perk)

Generators that are not being repaired by survivors will immediately and automatically regress its repair progress at 50/75/100%.

Dead By Daylight The Hag powers

The Hag’s Power is called Blackened Catalyst. Using this power, the Hag is able to draw muddy, Phantasm Traps that allow her to teleport to whenever a survivor triggers them or anytime she wants (through add-ons.

When a trap is triggered by a survivor, a mud-shaped illusion of the Hag will appear and force the survivor’s camera towards it to confuse them. The illusion will also give out a small terror radius, giving uncertainty to survivors about whether or not the Hag has teleported to the trap or not.

Survivors can get rid of the Hag’s traps by pointing their flashlights at them.

Best add-ons for The Hag in Dead By Daylight

The Hag probably has some of the best add-ons in the game. Not only do they make playing her more fun, but it definitely keeps a survivor second-guessing a lot of the time. Here are a few of the best perks for the Hag.

Scarred Hand

This add-on removes the ability for The Hag to teleport to her traps but makes her mud illusions from the Phantasm Traps turn solid, meaning that Survivors are unable to pass through them. This effectively body blocks Survivors, cutting off their escape and helping to land a hit on them.

Willow Wreath

This add-on lets you see the aura of a survivor for five seconds after they trigger your Phantasm Traps. If you’re unable to get to the trap in time to teleport to it, it lets you know the general location of where a Survivor is hiding.

Disfigured Ear

The survivor that triggers a Phantasm Trap will be deafened for six seconds. This will make it harder for survivors to escape when they trigger traps.

Mint Rag

This add-on grants the Hag the ability to teleport in any untripped Phantom Traps.

Dead By Daylight The Hag tips and tricks

  • The Hag is highly mobile but has a slow movement speed. So make sure you put your traps in areas where you know survivors will trigger them. Otherwise, you will be hiking your way around the map and putting yourself at a disadvantage.
  • Don’t place your Phantasm Traps inside the pallet. Mud illusions can be passed through by survivors (unless you use an add-on), and if you teleport to that particular trap, it’s likely that the survivor will just throw the pallet on your head and give you an irritating stun.
  • The Hag is small compared to other killers, so use that to your advantage by hiding your Red Stain (turning to the side and moonwalking) at jungle gyms. Some killers cannot do that because of their height, but the Hag definitely can.
  • Body-blocking add-ons like Scarred Hand are excellent for basement build Hags, mostly because you can block the top of the stairs, effectively stopping survivors from saving their friends from your hook.
  • Keep an eye on how many Phantasm Traps you have left before you start putting down anymore. It’s easy to lose track of them and end up replacing your set-up due to being overzealous.
