Spiritomb on Glaseado Mountain

Some particular Pokémon are evasive and mysterious, so here is where to find Spiritomb in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It's a lot easier than how we had to go about getting this keystone ghost decades ago, but you're still unlikely to happen upon it by chance.

Introduced back in Generation 4, Spiritomb is the collection of 108 spirits, tied to an Odd Stone in order to keep it in check. It is out to create havoc and force others to do misdeeds. It is both Ghost and Dark-Type, and as such, is a useful addition to any team.

Where to find Spiritomb in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Spiritomb is regarded as a dark and evil Pokemon, and often pops up in some odd places. The Pokedex in Scarlet and Violet does not list where it can or will show up, so we've taken matters into our own hands.

Regardless of the Pokedex's lack of help, we've found a solid location that frequently spawns Spiritombs.

Head to Glaseado Mountain, and then down towards the area north of Casseroya Lake. There's an icy plateau overlooking the forest, and here is where Spiritomb pops up.

Spiritomb can be a hard one to catch, as it may have a move called Memento that causes it to faint. We advise using status conditions and throwing Ultra Balls at it immediately to secure the catch. A Quick Ball at the start of the battle might be a good shout, too.
